This is because the advanced model has a significantly better cooling system, with a vapor chamber that can remove heat much more efficiently.
However, if we talk strictly about performance, there are honestly a lot of devices out there that perform better both in terms of CPU or GPU performance.
It is good, but it is arguably not the most amazing laptop in terms of its performance.
This is because it strives to be a relatively quiet machine with an excellent cooling system. Thus, the performance is not maximized to maintain the noise and temperature level.
Also, it is strange that the advanced model only has one slot for SSD while the base model has two. People with eight-core CPUs and RTX Super GPUs may need more storage but there is no other slot to put it in.
Probably this is because the vapor chamber takes up so much space in the advanced model that they run out of space to put in that extra NVME driver.
